Ibi Montesino

As managing director of Herbalife’s North America region, Ibi Montesino is responsible for all business, strategy, sales and marketing functions across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, and oversees worldwide events. She brings over 12 years of proven leadership and expertise to this role, having previously served in this capacity from 2011 to 2023.

Previously, Ms. Montesino served as executive vice president and chief of staff. In those roles, she was responsible for all global  Herbalife Independent Distributor-facing business, including sales, marketing and Distributor operation functions, as well as all aspects of employee management and relations. Furthermore, she helped the company achieve gains in productivity and impact and execute on strategic, operational and cultural agendas.

Ms. Montesino joined the company in 1998 as an assistant to the vice president of personal care training. Subsequently, she became a global product marketing manager before joining the North America regional team. During her tenure with the North America region, she served in multiple capacities; first as manager of the West Coast and then director, senior director, and vice president of sales and marketing for the U.S. Hispanic market.

In her work across multiple areas of the business, Ms. Montesino has helped the company and its Independent Distributors deliver on the company’s purpose of helping people live their best lives and continuing to build Herbalife into the premier health and wellness company, community and platform.

In 2011, Poder Hispanic magazine included her in the prestigious annual list of the “Nation’s 100 Most Influential Hispanics” in the U.S.

Originally from Cuba, Ms. Montesino is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University.
