Henry Wang

As chief legal officer for Herbalife, Henry Wang leads Herbalife’s global legal and regulatory operations, corporate ethics and compliance, enterprise risk management, and corporate secretary functions. In addition to leading these internal corporate functions, Mr. Wang oversees the worldwide member business practice and compliance function, which helps guide the millions of Herbalife Independent Distributors around the world comply with company rules and legal regulations through effective training and monitoring initiatives.

Mr. Wang previously held the roles of general counsel and chief compliance officer.

Prior to joining Herbalife, he was a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP and Reed Smith LLP. While in private practice, he represented U.S. and international companies in U.S. federal and state courts on a wide array of legal issues, including contract disputes, unfair competition laws, employment/human resources issues, trade secrets, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Wang regularly advised and counseled his global clientele on legal and strategic issues.

Mr. Wang holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School. He served on the board of directors of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, the Asian Business League of Southern California and the Asian Pacific Community Fund.
